Our counseling sessions are considered therapy which consists of face-to-face contact between the counseling therapist and the person or family in treatment. Our role is to provide you with a collaborative, engaging, safe, nonjudgmental and confidential relationship. Your role is to be open to examining yourself, your feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and fears, and you can expect to be treated with respect and honesty throughout your relationship with New Hope Counseling.
Our initial therapy session involves a diagnostic evaluation which consists of an assessment concerning the mental and emotional condition of the client. At the conclusion of this process your counseling therapist will work with you to develop goals for treatment which may consist of a recommendation for continued therapy and/or a referral for any other pertinent health services.
For churches or other organizations and businesses, we offer mediation services to help resolve internal conflict through a process involving: interview, assessment, and summative recommendations.
Upon request, we offer seminars on various topics including, but not limited to, Marriage Preparation, Church Leadership Development, and Conflict Resolution.
Clinical Supervision is offered for all levels of therapists desiring to grow in their professional and clinical abilities.
Upon your initial visit, your counseling therapist will discuss your payment fees and options. Payment is required at the time of service and may be made by check, cash or credit card.
The Clinic does accept several different insurance plans. You can find out if we are a provider for your insurance network when you call our office. Before your first visit with your counseling therapist, we will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits, identify your co-pay obligation, and any deductible you have left to satisfy. If the Clinic is not part of your carrier's network, you may have out-of-network benefits that cover part of the cost of counseling.
Regardless of insurance, the client is responsible for all deductible amounts, co-payments, and balances that remain unpaid by the insurance company.
